Flynn’s have been shortlisted in 3 categories in this year’s CEF Construction Excellence Awards.  The categories are Training, Environmental Sustainability and Restoration Project.

We are delighted for our hard-working projects team that they are getting recognised for the quality of the work delivered at Rathvarna House this year, a period villa restored to full use after years’ of dereliction.  The scheme was highly interactive with the local community and we hosted visits from Pond Park Primary School and the local residents.

Our Training department are no strangers to awards having supported our significant training and apprenticeship programmes for may years. This year has been particularly successful and ever stronger partnerships being developed with external training organisations such as Springvale and Belfast Met.

Environmental considerations are coming ever more important, both commercially and socially.  This year has seen considerable investment in green initiatives and a shift in cultural behaviour which has enabled us to implement highly successful improvements and come to the fore of our sector.

A great result, the judging will take place over the summer and the awards will be declared in the autumn at a gala awards night.[/fusion_text]
